Jenna Bouey

Jenna Bouey enters her third year as head coach of the MU Volleyball team. Bouey is a Pacific Northwest native and was the head coach at Wilson High School for 3 seasons. Bouey began her successful volleyball career as a two time All-League player for Lakeridge High School (6A) in Lake Oswego. After high school she took her talents to California Lutheran University (NCAA DIII) where she was a four time Scholar Athlete for the Regals and won a  regional championship and went to NCAA DIII National Championships in 2007.

Bouey began her coaching career in the volleyball club scene nearly ten years ago, and while she was in California she served as a head coach for the California Heat Volleyball Club. After moving back to the Portland area she was hired as the head coach at Wilson High School (6A) where she led her 2012 team to a Portland Interscholastic League championship and her 2014 team to the State Tournament for the first time in school history. In 2013 Bouey started the Agape Volleyball Club in which she has developed the "Agape Curriculum" for her five teams starting at age 14 and working with players through age 18.

Coach Bouey completed her undergraduate studies at California Lutheran University as a Psychology major and earned her Masters in Educational Counseling from Azusa Pacific University. Coach Bouey is married to her husband, Jordan and they have a 3 year old daughter named Aria.
