Curt Bickley

AT MULTNOMAH UNIVERSITY: The 2022-23 basketball season marks Curt Bickley’s 20th year as the Multnomah Lions men’s basketball head coach.
Coach Bickley began his coaching career in 1992 at Bethesda Christian School in Brownsburg, Indiana where he helped lead the Patriots to 4 State Championships in 5 years.
The next coaching stop was in Santa Maria, CA at Valley Christian Academy where Bickley’s teams won 4 Coast Valley League Championships in 5 years.
Bickley moved up to the college ranks in 2003 when he joined Multnomah. During the years before joining the NAIA, MU won two NCCAA West Region Championships and played in 8 National Championship Tournaments, winning a total of 14 tournament games during that span. In 2014-2015, MU moved up to NAIA competition and joined the Cascade Collegiate Conference. (CCC) During this time, MU set new national NAIA records that still stand today. The MU basketball program has made 7 mission’s trips to Taiwan and 2 trips to the Czech Republic during Bickley’s tenure.
In 2022, Bickley was selected by Silver Waves Media as a Top 100 Most Influential NAIA Head Coach.

PERSONAL: Bickley played for his father Stan Bickley in high school in Waupaca, WI. Bickley played collegiately at Pensacola Christian College in Florida where he was the MVP of the team is senior season and First Team Orange Belt Conference. Coach Bickley enjoys all things Brewers, Bucks, Packers and Badgers and spending time with his wife Melissa and their four kids, and his two grandsons.
